Chef Manjunath Mural departs Song of India to open his own restaurant
Chef Landscape's new casual dining establishment, Adda, will open in November.

When ane-Michelin-starred Song of India close its doors in March this twelvemonth, its head chef Manjunath Landscape waited for news from the restaurant's owners of post-lockdown plans.
But when those plans never materialised, Mural began making plans of his own. On Tuesday (Sep 22) dark, he announced that he would be opening a new restaurant called Adda, come November.
When information technology opens, Adda will serve an a la carte card of neo-Indian cuisine, including the likes of butter craven pot pie and prata quesadillas, designed to be "casual and fun".
The eatery is a partnership betwixt Landscape and the Genie Commonage, which owns Beirut Grill, Kebabs Faktory and Magic Rug Lounge.
"This was an opportunity that presented itself at the correct time," Mural told CNA Luxury. Nether his stewardship, Song of India received its Michelin star in 2022 and retained it until his deviation. "I've always wanted to create my ain concept, with new and innovative means to present Indian cuisine in an approachable style."
Adda will be located at Diner'south Club Building in Beach Route, where Magic Carpet Lounge is also situated. At the fourth dimension of publication, Song of India'south owner Terese Paul could not exist reached for comment.
